Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 14

As of 10:00 PM Kyiv time on 14 November, there were 256 combat engagements along the front line throughout the day. The Pokrovsk direction was once again the most intense, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian strikes
According to the General Staff, Russia today carried out one missile strike and 28 airstrikes, fired 20 missiles, and dropped 58 guided bombs. In addition, the occupiers used 3,263 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,418 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements.
Frontline updates
On the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, there was one combat engagement. Russia carried out 163 attacks, including three using multiple-launch rocket systems.
On the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces attacked ten times near Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Odradne, Dvorichanske, and toward Kolodiazne.
On the Kupiansk direction, the aggressor attempted to advance five times toward Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Novoplatonivka. One attack is still ongoing.
On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 Russian assaults. Fighting took place near Novoyehorivka, Tverdokhlibove, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Shandryholove, Myrne, Zarichne, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, and toward Korovyn Yar, Olhivka, Druzelubiivka, and Novyi Myr.
On the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 17 attacks as Russian forces tried to advance near Yampil, Dronivka, Serebrianka, Sievierk, and Pereiizne.
On the Kramatorsk direction, four combat engagements occurred near Fedorivka, Vasiukivka, Maiske, and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
On the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 33 attacks near Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Kostiantynivka and Poltavka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Russia launched 102 assaults throughout the day in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Novopavlivka, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Kotliarivka, Orikhove, and Dachne.
"Preliminary estimates show that today on the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces lost 158 killed and wounded. Our soldiers destroyed two armored vehicles, two trucks, and six UAVs, and struck a tank, three armored vehicles, and 14 personnel shelters," the report says.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, defenders repelled 17 attacks near Ivanivka, Zelenyi Hai, Yalta, Oleksandrohrad, Stepove, Pryvilne, Yehorivka, and Krasnohirske. Six engagements are still ongoing.
On the Hulyaipole direction, Russia carried out 15 assault actions; Ukrainian forces repelled attacks near Solodke, Yablukove, and toward Zelenyi Hai.
On the Orikhiv direction, Russia attacked four times near Stepnohirsk and toward Prymorske and Novoandriivka.
On the Prydniprovskyi direction, no combat engagements were recorded.
Russian military losses
Russian forces continue to suffer heavy losses. Over the past day alone, from 13 to 14 November, Russia lost another 1,040 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 35 artillery systems and 95 vehicles.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian military losses have exceeded 1.1 million personnel.
