Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 4

Over the past 24 hours on November 4, intense fighting continued on the frontlines. Ukrainian defense forces repelled numerous attacks, according to a publication by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Since the beginning of the day, there have been 144 combat engagements. The enemy carried out one missile strike and 35 airstrikes, used six rockets, dropped 57 guided bombs, deployed 3,029 kamikaze drones, and conducted 3,668 shellings of Ukrainian positions and populated areas.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the Russian army carried out five airstrikes, dropped ten guided bombs, and conducted 135 shellings, including eight using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, seven enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of Vovchansk, Synelnykove, and Dvorichanske.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out five offensive actions near Pishchane, Boryvska Andriivka, and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman and Sloviansk directions, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions ten times near Hrekivka, Novoselivka, Korovyi Yar, Drobysheve, and Lyman, with one combat engagement still ongoing. Defense forces repelled 13 attacks in the areas of Serebrianka, Vyimka, Pereizne, Siversk, and Dronivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy attempted to break through defenses 11 times near Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Ivanopillia, Yablunivka, Berestok, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian defensive positions 49 times, with five clashes still ongoing. During the day, Ukrainian forces destroyed 107 enemy soldiers, 21 drones, 4 units of specialized equipment, vehicles, and drone control points.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the Russian army attacked 15 times toward Yehorivka, Novoivanivka, Yalta, Sosnivka, Stepove, Verbove, and Novohryhorivka.
In the Huliaipole direction, three attacks were repelled near Novomykolaivka, while airstrikes targeted Solodke, Pology, and Ternuvate.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to break through defenses three times near Stepove and Novoandriivka, and all attacks were repelled.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, three attempts to advance toward the Antonivskyi Bridge proved unsuccessful.
In other directions, no significant changes were recorded. The situation on the frontlines remains tense, with defense forces continuing to hold positions and repel enemy attacks.
Ukraine is actively increasing the production of its own drones, gradually moving away from Chinese DJI Mavic models. The first batches of domestically produced drones have already been delivered to military units and are being used on the frontlines.
Additionally, in occupied Berdyansk, students of the local medical college are being forced to join the occupiers’ pseudo-unit Bars-85, where young people are trained to serve the interests of Russian forces.
