The front line remains tense; more than a hundred combat clashes with Russian forces were recorded on October 26, according to a publication by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since the start of the day, 110 combat clashes have been recorded. Russian forces launched one missile and 50 air strikes, used one missile, and dropped 126 guided aerial bombs.
A total of 3,988 kamikaze drones and 2,711 artillery strikes targeted Ukrainian positions and civilian settlements.
Slobozhanskyi directions
In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian units repelled one Russian attack. Russian forces carried out two air strikes using seven bombs and conducted 133 artillery attacks, including three multiple launch rocket system salvos.
In the South Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces launched 18 assaults near Vovchansk, Kamyanka, Stroivka, and toward Bologivka and Dvorichanske, all of which were repelled.
Eastern sectors
In the Kupiansk direction, five unsuccessful assaults were recorded near Pishchane and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions eight times near Karpivka, Serednie, Derylove, and Torske; one clash is still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, Russian forces attempted to advance near Vyimka, Serebrianka, Siversk, Pereizne, and Fedorivka, but failed.
In Kramatorsk and Kostiantynivka directions
In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, 14 assaults were recorded near Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Pleshchiivka.
In Pokrovsk and southern directions
In the Pokrovsk direction, 28 attempts were made to breach Ukrainian defenses near Ivanivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Krasnyi Lyman, Pankivka, Lysivka, Vdale, Novoekonomichne, Zviryache, Kotlyn, Molodetske, and toward Pokrovsk and Novopskov.
Ukrainian defenders are holding their positions: 73 Russian troops were eliminated, including 29 irrecoverable losses. One artillery system, eight drones, and one vehicle were also destroyed.
Southern front - Oleksandrohrad, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovskyi directions
In the Oleksandrohrad direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 attacks near Sosnivka, Stepove, Piddubne, Oleksandrohrad, Pavlivka, and Novohryhorivka.
In the Huliaipole direction, Russian forces attempted twice to advance near Malynivka and Zelenyi Hai but were pushed back.
In the Orikhiv direction, four attacks were recorded near Novoandriivka, Stepove, and Stepnohirsk.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, two assaults near the Antonivskyi bridge ended unsuccessfully; an air strike targeted Olhivka.
Earlier, Moscow came under a surprise attack by unidentified drones on the evening of October 26. Russian authorities claimed all threats were neutralized, though multiple explosions were reported across the city.
Meanwhile, new satellite images have appeared online showing the aftermath of Ukrainian strikes on the Belgorod reservoir dam inside Russia.
