Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of October 23

As of the evening of October 23, over a hundred combat clashes and large-scale strikes along the front line were recorded, according to a post by the Ukrainian General Staff on Telegram.
Since the start of the day, there have been 103 combat engagements. The enemy carried out 48 airstrikes, dropped 105 guided bombs, used around 2,700 kamikaze drones, and conducted 3,653 shellings of settlements and Ukrainian positions.
North and East
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted three airstrikes, used eight guided bombs, and carried out 186 shellings, including six multiple rocket launcher strikes.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, our units repelled seven attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Kamianka, and Bologivka; five battles remain active.
In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the defense repelled four and five assaults, respectively, with some clashes still ongoing.
Donbas and Pokrovsk direction
In the Sloviansk direction, defense forces repelled ten enemy attempts to advance. On the Kostiantynivka front, the Russian army launched eleven assaults, all of which were repelled.
In the Pokrovsk direction, 31 attacks were recorded; fighters repelled most of the attacks. According to preliminary data, 58 Russian soldiers were killed and 25 wounded, ten drones destroyed, and several pieces of equipment disabled.
Southern front sectors
In the Oleksandrivka direction, 11 attacks were repelled. In the Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions, airstrikes and separate assaults were reported, all of which were repelled by the defense forces.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, three attempts to advance near the Antonivskyi Bridge were repelled.
Russia approved a decree allowing occupation administrations in the seized Ukrainian territories to declare the property of Ukrainian citizens ownerless and transfer it to state ownership.
The occupied Crimea is facing a deepening water supply crisis: due to prolonged drought and falling reservoir levels, the region is at risk of water shortages. In particular, local sources report that reserves in Alushta could run out in just three months.
