Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of October 14

On the front, since the start of the day, there have been 113 combat clashes. Russian forces are attacking in almost all directions, with the heaviest fighting in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy attempted offensive actions five times. Enemy aviation carried out four airstrikes, dropping a total of 12 guided bombs. The enemy also conducted 98 shellings, including five with multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy assaults near Kamianka, Zapadne, and Kutkivka, as well as towards Kolodiazne and Bolohivka. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.
Since the start of the day, the enemy attacked five times in the Kupiansk direction near Pishchane and towards Petropavlivka and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian units repelled three attacks in the direction of Drobysheve and near the settlements of Serednie and Kolodiazi. One attack is still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled four enemy attacks. The Russian forces tried to advance near Yampil, Pereizne, and Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, there were two combat clashes with the enemy near Stupochky and Orikhovo-Vasylivka. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces launched seven assaults on Ukrainian positions near Kostiantynivka and near Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka. Ukrainian units repelled five attacks, while two enemy attacks are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the start of the day, the Russian forces carried out 47 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Volodymyrivka, Nove Shakhove, Nikanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Sukhetske, Mykhailivka, Novoekonomichne, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Horikhove, Novoukrainka, Filiia, and in the direction of Novopavlivka. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 39 attacks, and fighting continues.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy tried nine times to advance on Ukrainian positions near Yalta, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Novomykolaivka, and Poltavka. Four combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy carried out no offensive actions today.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked twice near Stepove. The settlement of Novoandriivka was hit by an airstrike.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, enemy aviation struck Olhivka with unguided air-launched rockets.
Russian losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost approximately 1,125,150 military personnel.
In the past 24 hours, Russian army losses totaled 1,200 soldiers. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 5 tanks, 29 artillery systems, 390 drones, and other enemy equipment yesterday.
