As of 10:00 PM Kyiv time on September 7, a total of 118 combat clashes had taken place on the front during the day. The largest number of battles was once again recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

During the day, Russian forces launched three missile and 50 air strikes, using 16 missiles and dropping 88 guided bombs. In addition, they deployed 2,362 attack drones and carried out 3,365 artillery strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements.

Frontline updates

In the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine assaults. Russian forces also launched 13 air strikes, dropping 36 guided bombs, and carried out 211 artillery strikes, including six with multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces attempted 12 assaults near Vovchansk, Ambarne and Kamyanka. Two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces launched offensive actions near Kupiansk and toward Pishchane. Four attacks were repelled.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked 13 times near Karpivka, Hrekivka, Serednie and toward Drobysheve, Shandryholove, Derylove. Fighting continues in four locations.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight assaults near Serebrianka, Hryhorivka and toward Yampil and Siversk.

In the Kramatorsk direction, three clashes were recorded. Russian forces tried to advance near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and toward Stupochky and Minkivka.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces carried out seven assaults near Poltavka, Shcherbynivka and toward Pleshchiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted 34 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Myroliubivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Promin, Lysivka, Udachne, Dachne, Novoukrainka and toward Novopavlivka. Three clashes are ongoing.
According to preliminary data, 90 Russian soldiers were neutralized in this area, 54 of them killed. Ukrainian forces also destroyed one tank, six vehicles, one unit of special equipment, and one UAV control post; two guns, three vehicles, and nine shelters were damaged.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces attempted 16 assaults near Komyshuvakha, Zelenyi Hai, Oleksandrohrad and toward Ivanivka, Sosnivka, Filia. One clash continues.

In the Hulyaipole direction, Russian forces did not conduct offensive actions.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three assaults near Plavni and toward Stepnohirske and Novodanylivka. Novopavlivka and Shcherbaky came under air strikes.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces did not conduct offensive actions. An air strike was carried out near Antonivka.

In other directions, the situation remained without significant changes.

Russian losses

From September 6 to 7, Russian forces lost another 970 soldiers in battles against Ukraine. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 42 artillery systems, 104 vehicles, and 294 drones.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, total Russian losses have reached nearly 1.1 million personnel.
