Over the past 24 hours, Russia deployed nearly 6,000 drones and hundreds of aerial bombs against Ukraine, but all assaults stalled. The Ukrainian Armed Forces hold defenses on all key fronts, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

Scale of attacks in 24 hours

Over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 139 enemy clashes. The enemy tried to break through with waves of shelling and airstrikes:

  • 84 aviation strikes,
  • 154 guided aerial bombs dropped,
  • 5,770 kamikaze drones used,
  • 5,177 artillery strikes, including 86 from MLRS.

The attacks targeted settlements in the Sumy region (Zarichchia), Zaporizhzhia (Bilohiria, Stepnohirsk), and Kherson region (Mykolaivka).

Return fire

Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed:

  • 4 enemy troop and equipment concentration areas,
  • 1 command post,
  • 4 artillery guns,
  • 1 ammunition depot.

This significantly reduced the Russian army’s offensive potential.

Hottest directions

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk direstions

The enemy launched 17 airstrikes, dropping 33 bombs, conducted 245 artillery strikes, and carried out 9 assaults. All failed.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction

Five attacks on Ukrainian positions in Hlyboke, Kolodyiazne, Vovchansk, and Kamianka ended in Russian losses.

Kupiansk direction

Six assaults on the outskirts of Kupiansk - all stopped.

Lyman direction

20 attacks in Novomykhailivka, Zeleni Dolyny, Serebrianka, Torske, and other areas. Russian forces failed to breach defenses.

Siversk direction

Three attacks near Fedorivka, Hryhorivka, and Siversk. Ukrainian soldiers hold positions.

Toretsk direction

Nine attacks in Pleshchiivka, Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Rusynyi Yar, and Poltavka.

Pokrovsk direction

The fiercest battles continue - 41 Russian assaults on Ukrainian positions near Volodymyrivka, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Sukhetske, and other villages. The enemy also attacked toward Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, and Chervonyi Lyman.

Novopavlivskyi direction

21 attacks in Ivanivka, Voskresenka, Zaporizke, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Komyshuvakha, and Temyrivka.

On the Kramatorsk, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovskiy directions, Russian forces did not conduct offensive operations during the day.

No signs of enemy strike group formation appeared on the Volyn and Polissia directions.

Previously, we reported that over the past day, Russian troops lost in Ukraine:

  • 880 military personnel,
  • 4 tanks,
  • 40 artillery systems,
  • 7 troop-carrying AFVs,
  • 2 MLRS,
  • 325 drones,
  • 1 heavy flamethrower system,
  • 120 vehicles and 2 special equipment units.

Night attack on Ukraine

Last night, the enemy attacked Kyiv with strike drones and missiles - apartment buildings were damaged. At least 8 people were killed and 45 were injured. Rescue teams are currently searching the rubble of a destroyed five-story building, trying to free people trapped inside.

The Vinnytsia region also came under attack overnight. 29 settlements lost electricity due to Russian strikes. No information on casualties has been reported.
