Since the beginning of July 28, there have been 90 combat clashes on the front. Russian forces are attacking in almost all directions, with the heaviest fighting in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, the Russian army continues to strike border settlements.

Today, the following settlements came under enemy artillery fire: Arkhypivka in the Chernihiv region; Tovstodubove, Izdetske, Bila Bereza, Khodyne, Bobylivka, Myropilske, Pokrovka, Novodmytrivka, Seredyna-Buda, Nova Huta, Malushyne, and Stara Huta in the Sumy region.

Situation on the frontlines

In the Northeastern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, there have been six combat engagements since the beginning of the day. Additionally, the enemy carried out eight airstrikes, dropping 21 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 159 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including five using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southeastern-Slobozhanskyi direction, enemy units launched two attacks on Ukrainian positions near Zelene and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to assault Ukrainian positions near Stepova Novoselivka.

In the Lyman direction, the aggressor launched 19 attacks today near the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Yampilivka, and toward Dronivka and Serebrianka. Five engagements are currently ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy tried three times to advance near Hryhorivka and toward Vyiimka – all attempts were repelled by Ukrainian forces.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defense forces repelled one attack toward Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions six times in the areas of Dyliivka, Toretsk, and Rusyn Yar. One engagement is currently ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 34 attacks on Ukrainian positions today near the settlements of Popiv Yar, Maiak, Novoekonomichne, Razine, Lysivka, Chunyshyne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Orikhove, Zelenyi Kut, and Dachne. Fighting continues in seven locations.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Zelene Pole, Piddubne, Oleksandrohrad, Shevchenko, Voskresenka, and Temyrivka. Five more engagements are ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, no combat engagements have been recorded so far, but the enemy carried out airstrikes using unguided rockets and guided bombs on the settlements of Zaliznychne and Bilohiria.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled an attack near Kamianske, while Novоandriivka came under enemy airstrikes.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled three enemy assaults.

Russian losses in the war

According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost approximately 1,050,250 troops.

In particular, 1,000 Russian soldiers were eliminated over the past day. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 4 tanks, 1 armored combat vehicle, 4 artillery systems, 235 drones, and other enemy equipment yesterday.
