As of 10:00 PM Kyiv time, on July 25, a total of 153 combat engagements had taken place along the front line over the day. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk, Siversk, and Lyman directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian strikes

Over the past day, Russian forces carried out one missile strike and 37 airstrikes, using six missiles and dropping 45 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they launched 1,383 kamikaze drones and conducted 4,524 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

Frontline updates

In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian units repelled three assaults by Russian forces.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions four times near Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Fyholivka, and toward Kozacha Lopan.

In the Kupiansk direction, one assault attempt was recorded as Russian units tried to break through Ukrainian defenses near Stepova Novoselivka.

In the Lyman direction, 22 Russian assaults have taken place since morning near Hrekivka, Novyi Myr, Serednie, Ridkodub, Yampolivka, Kolodiazi, and Dibrova. Ukrainian forces are currently repelling five ongoing attacks.

In the Siversk direction, Russian forces attempted to advance 27 times near Hryhorivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Vyiimka. Nine engagements are ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, three clashes occurred as Russian units tried to advance near Chasiv Yar and toward Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces launched five attacks on Defense Forces positions, focusing efforts near Diliivka, Toretsk, and Rusyn Yar. Two engagements are still underway.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 39 times near Popiv Yar, Novoeconomichne, Razine, Lysivka, Chunishyne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Novoukrainka, and Oleksiivka. Fighting continues at four locations.

"Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding off Russian assaults and inflicting heavy losses. Today alone in this direction, 168 Russian troops were neutralized, including 113 killed. Ukrainian defenders destroyed one tank, one infantry fighting vehicle, one vehicle, eight motorcycles, nine drones, and a UAV control post. Three vehicles, three motorcycles, four artillery systems, and four personnel shelters were also significantly damaged," the report states.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian units repelled 13 Russian attacks near Zelenyi Hai, Tovste, Novokhatske, and Temyrivka, with five more engagements still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces attempted to advance near Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian troops made seven unsuccessful assault attempts, suffered losses, and retreated.

In the Huliaipole direction, no offensive actions were recorded.

Russian army losses

According to the General Staff, Russian forces lost another 980 soldiers in combat between July 24 and 25. Additionally, Ukrainian troops destroyed 31 artillery systems, 196 drones, and 76 vehicles.

To date, over 1 million Russian personnel have been lost since the start of the full-scale invasion.
