Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of July 19

During the past day, 177 combat engagements were recorded on the frontline. Russian forces continue attempts to break through in various directions, actively using aircraft, drones, and artillery, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to updated data, the occupiers launched two missile strikes and 71 airstrikes on Ukraine, used six missiles, and dropped 101 guided aerial bombs.
They also carried out 3,843 kamikaze drone attacks, and the total number of shellings of AFU positions and populated areas reached 5,825, including 98 with multiple launch rocket systems.
Airstrikes were recorded in the areas of Shostka (Sumy region), Zaliznychne, Novodanylivka and Plavni (Zaporizhzhia region), and Olhivka (Kherson region).
In response, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two areas of enemy personnel and equipment concentration, a command post, an artillery asset, and six other key targets.
Combat directions
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions: 38 combat engagements recorded. The enemy carried out 10 airstrikes, dropped 17 guided bombs, and conducted 351 artillery attacks, including four with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction: Russian forces launched six assaults near Vovchansk, Bolohivka, and Krasne Pershe.
Kupiansk direction: Four enemy attacks took place near Stepova Novoselivka and Kindrashivka.
Lyman direction: 26 enemy attacks. The enemy attempted to advance near Korovyi Yar, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Shandryholove, Torske, and toward Serebrianka.
Siversk direction: Five attacks were recorded in the areas of Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, and Vyiimka.
Kramatorsk direction: Eight combat clashes near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bila Hora, Predtechyne, and Chasiv Yar.
Toretsk direction: Seven attacks in the areas of Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka, Kalynivka, Nelipivka, and Oleksandro-Kalynove.
Pokrovsk direction: The hottest sector of the front—Ukrainian forces repelled 47 attacks near Filya, as well as around Poltavka, Volodymyrivka, Myroliubivka, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Novotoretske, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, Orikhove, and Oleksiivka.
Novopavlivka direction: 13 assaults were recorded in the areas of Zirka, Vilne Pole, Novopil, Zelene Pole, Maliivka, Shevchenko, and toward Oleksandrohrod and Kamyshuvakha.
Huliaipole direction: No assaults recorded.
Orikhiv direction: Four attacks near Kamianske.
Prydniprovskyi direction: Six combat engagements. The enemy attempted to advance toward Dniprovske, Sadove, Prydniprovske, near Hola Prystan and Kozulsky Island.
Volyn and Polissia directions: No signs of enemy offensive group formations detected.
Russian losses in the war
As reported, Russian occupation forces lost 1,120 personnel over the past day.
Additionally, Ukrainian forces neutralized seven armored fighting vehicles, 46 artillery systems, one MLRS, one air defense system, 163 operational-tactical UAVs, one missile, and 112 units of enemy motor vehicles.
