Over the past day, 212 combat engagements took place along the front line. The enemy exerted the most pressure in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions, according to the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 18 areas where enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, as well as three artillery systems and one other important target belonging to the Russian occupiers," the General Staff wrote.

Situation by direction

In the Northern–Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 Russian attacks.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, eight combat engagements took place near the settlements of Milove, Stroivka, Vovchansk, and Zelene.

In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers launched seven attacks near Holubivka, Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Kolisnykivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out 28 attacks near the settlements of Hrekivka, Kopanky, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, and toward Bilohorivka.

In the Siversk direction, five assault attempts by occupation forces were repelled near the areas of Serebrianka and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, five combat engagements were recorded near Chasiv Yar and toward Stupochky.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched 14 attacks near Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 74 enemy assaults near the settlements of Poltavka, Myroliubivka, Mykolaivka, Razine, Rodynske, Novotoretske, Promin, and other locations.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 27 attempts to break through defensive lines near the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Novokhatske, Myrne, Shevchenko, Zelene Pole, Rivnopil, and Vilne Pole.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy carried out two offensive operations, attempting to advance toward Mali Shcherbaky and Novodanylivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the Defense Forces stopped seven enemy attempts to move forward.

Russian losses in the war

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost more than 1.035 million personnel. Just in the past day, its losses increased by another 1,130 soldiers. The Defense Forces also destroyed:

  • three tanks;

  • four armored fighting vehicles;

  • 51 artillery systems, among other equipment.
