Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of July 13

Several hundred combat engagements took place between Ukrainian defenders and Russian occupiers yesterday, July 12. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted enemy positions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, there were 200 combat engagements on the front line on July 12.
Russian forces launched one massive missile and air strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, along with 100 airstrikes and 179 guided bombs. A total of 5,635 attacks were recorded, including 84 from multiple launch rocket systems. The enemy also used 3,956 kamikaze drones in its assaults.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 10 areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, two artillery systems, one command post, and one command and observation post of the Russian occupiers.
Situation in specific directions
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, 18 combat engagements were recorded. The enemy carried out 21 airstrikes, dropped 38 guided bombs, and launched 323 attacks, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy launched 11 offensive actions in the areas of Vovchansk, Zelene, Chuhunivka, and toward Lyptsi.
In the Kupiansk direction, there were 10 enemy attacks during the past day. Ukrainian forces repelled assaults near Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Stepova Novoselivka, Zelenyi Hai, and in the direction of Novoosynove.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 28 times, attempting to advance near Hrekivka, Karpivka, Novyi Myr, Kolodiazi, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, Dibrova, and toward the settlements of Serebrianka, Shandryholove, and Dronivka.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 15 enemy attacks over the past day. Occupation forces tried to push forward near Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, Ivano-Darivka, and Vyiimka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, six combat clashes were recorded near Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 12 attacks near Diliivka, Toretsk, and toward Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka, and Yablunivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 61 assault and offensive operations by the enemy in the areas of Popiv Yar, Volodymyrivka, Razyne, Kotlyne, Myrne, Novoeconomichne, Myroliubivka, Shevchenko, Zvirrove, Udachne, Orikhove, and in the directions of Pokrovsk, Molodetske, Oleksiivka, and Muravka.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks in the areas of Dachne, Filiia, Myrne, Shevchenkove, Temyrivka, Zelene Pole, and toward Novopavlivka.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations during the past day.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice near the settlement of Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the aggressor launched nine offensive operations in the areas of the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of offensive enemy groups were detected.
Russian losses
As reported, on July 12, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 1,240 Russian soldiers.
In addition, Ukrainian troops destroyed 49 artillery systems and 101 vehicles.
