As of 10:00 PM Kyiv time on July 6, a total of 149 combat engagements had been recorded on the front since the beginning of the day, with most taking place in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian strikes

Russian forces launched one missile strike and 61 airstrikes, using four missiles and 82 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 1,275 kamikaze drones and conducted over 4,000 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

Frontline updates

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, seven combat clashes occurred since the beginning of the day, three of which were ongoing. Russian forces carried out ten airstrikes, dropped 24 guided bombs, and launched 231 artillery attacks, including 21 from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces attacked 20 times near the settlements of Kamianka, Zelene, Krasne Pershe, Ambarne, Vovchansk, and toward Khatnie. Eight clashes were ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted six assaults near Kindrashivka, Holubivka, and Zelenyi Hai. All were repelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked 23 times near Hrekivka, Chervonyi Stav, Serebrianka, Karpivka, and in the direction of Novyi Myr and Torske. Two clashes were ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, Russian forces attacked five times near Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, Vyiimka, and Ivano-Darivka. Two engagements were ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, no offensive actions by Russian forces were reported.

In the Toretsk direction, six attacks took place near Diliivka, Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, and Yablunivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted 40 assaults to break through Ukrainian defenses near Razine, Promin, Kotlyne, Novosergiivka, Myroliubivka, Poltavka, Novoekonomichne, Myrne, Lysivka, Zvirrove, Udachne, Orikhove, Oleksiivka, and toward Pokrovsk, Molodetske, Dachne, and Muravka. Eight clashes were ongoing.

"According to available information, Russian losses in this direction today amount to 117 personnel killed and wounded, six vehicles destroyed, three motorcycles, three UAVs, two satellite communication terminals, three UAV antennas, and one vehicle damaged," the General Staff reported.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defense forces repelled 15 attacks near Voskresenka, Shevchenko, Zaporizhzhia, Zirka, Myrne, Komar, Novosilka, and toward Novopavlivka.

In the Huliaipole direction, one Russian attack was successfully repelled near Malynivka. One engagement was ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces carried out airstrikes on Plavni.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces launched an airstrike on the area of L’vove.

Russian losses at front

Earlier, the General Staff reported that during the day from July 5 to 6, Russian forces lost 1,180 soldiers, along with 2 tanks and 39 artillery systems.
