Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 6: +1,180 troops, aircraft and anti-aircraft system

Over the past day, from July 5 to July 6, Russian military losses on the front line amounted to 1,180 soldiers, an aircraft, and an anti-aircraft system, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 6, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel – about 1,026,440 (+1180) people wounded/killed;
- tanks – 10,992 (+2);
- troop-carrying AFVs – 22,956 (+3);
- artillery systems – 29,960 (+39);
- MLRS – 1,430 (+2);
- anti-aircraft systems – 1,192 (+1);
- aircraft – 421 (+1);
- helicopters – 340;
- UAV operational-tactical level – 43 825 (+216);
- cruise missiles – 3,439 (+3);
- warships/boats – 28;
- submarines – 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 54 252 (+104) ;
- special equipment – 3,925.
It is believed that a lost aircraft was likely struck by Ukrainian drones during an attack on the Russian airbase in Borisoglebsk, which hosts fighter jets used by the Russian forces.
Russian air attacks
In the early hours of July 6, Russian forces launched a drone attack on Ukraine using Shahed kamikaze drones.
In the Kyiv region, falling drone debris caused damage to residential buildings in the Vyshhorod community.
In Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding area, warehouse facilities and agricultural equipment were damaged.
