In the early hours of July 6, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding district with drones. The strike caused damage and destruction, according to the channel of Zaporizhzhia Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov.

He clarified that the Russian attack occurred at around 2:00 AM Kyiv time, with Russian forces launching five Shahed drones.

"Warehouse facilities and agricultural machinery at farming enterprises were damaged. A private business building was partially destroyed," Fedorov wrote.

He added that emergency services are currently working at all affected sites and that efforts to eliminate the consequences of the attack are ongoing.

According to Fedorov, there were no casualties.

Zaporizhzhia strike

Russian forces regularly attack Zaporizhzhia and other populated areas across Ukraine.

In particular, during the night of July 1, another Russian strike also caused damage in the city. According to Fedorov, a facility and several private homes were affected.
