Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of June 15

Russian forces strikes

Over the past day, Russian forces launched four missiles and 26 air strikes on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, using 11 missiles and dropping 38 guided aerial bombs. They also deployed 1,082 kamikaze drones and carried out approximately 4,000 artillery attacks.

Frontline updates

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of June 15, Russian forces attempted 39 assaults near Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novosergiivka, Udachne, Oleksiivka, and toward Mykolaivka, Novopavlivka, Novomykolaivka, and Pokrovsk. Three engagements are still ongoing. Airstrikes targeted Koptiieve, Novopavlivka, Poltavka, Razine, and Sukhyi Yar. Preliminary reports indicate 136 Russian personnel were neutralized (84 killed). Ukrainian forces destroyed five vehicles, three motorcycles, five UAVs, a satellite communication terminal, two generators, and damaged two vehicles and one armored fighting vehicle.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces launched 22 attacks near Kostyantynopil, Novosilka, Vilne Pole, Novyi Komar, and toward Myrne, Shevchenko, Odradne, and Bahatyr. Four clashes are ongoing. Airstrikes hit Novopil, Tolstoi, Voskresenka, and Myrne.

In the Kursk direction, 21 engagements took place since morning, six are ongoing. Russian forces carried out 12 airstrikes with 25 guided bombs and 200 artillery strikes, including eight from MLRS.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces launched 12 assaults near Toretsk and toward Rusynyi Yar, Novospaske, and Yablunivka. Two clashes continue.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces conducted six assaults near Vovchansk, Starytsia, Kamyanka, and toward Dovhenke.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attempted six attacks toward Petropavlivka, Holubivka, Zahryzove, and Nova Kruhliakivka. All assaults were repelled.

In the Lyman direction, 11 attacks were recorded near Kopanky, Novoyehorivka, Lypove, and toward Shandryholove, Torske, and Hryhorivka. Five engagements are ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks near Hryhorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces attacked seven times near Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, and Kurdiumivka.

In the Huliaipole direction, Russian forces launched airstrikes with unguided aerial rockets on Zaliznychne. No ground assaults were recorded.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled one assault near Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, an airstrike targeted Odradokamianka.

Previous day clashes

On June 14, a total of 203 combat engagements were recorded along the front line. Russian forces concentrated their assaults primarily in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Kursk directions.
