Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of June 15

As of 4:00 PM Kyiv time on June 15, there were 86 combat clashes on the front lines. One-third of them occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, informs the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Enemy shelling
Today, Russian artillery and mortar fire hit the communities of:
- Velyka Pysarivka, Turiya, Vysoke, Prokhody, Bila Bereza, Sosnivka, Brusky, Pokrovka in the Sumy region;
- Mhy, Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region;
- Tymofiivka in the Kharkiv region.
Aviation strikes targeted the settlements of:

Petrushivka in the Sumy region;

Krasnyi Khutir in the Chernihiv region.
Additionally, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kremenchuk in the Poltava region.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled one Russian attack near Vovchansk. Another clash is ongoing near the settlement of Starytsia.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled five assaults toward Petropavlivka, Holubivka, and Nova Kruhliakivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched five attacks on Ukrainian positions near Novoyehorivka, Lypove, and in the directions of Shandryholove, Torske, and Hryhorivka.
In the Siversk direction, Russian forces are probing for weaknesses near Hryhorivka. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled two attacks there.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attempted six times to advance on Ukrainian positions near Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Predtechyne, and Kurdiumivka.
In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five assaults. The enemy tried to advance near Toretsk, toward Novospaske and Yablunivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces made 27 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Oleksiivka, and toward Mykolaivka and Novopavlivka. Six clashes are ongoing. Aviation strikes hit Koptieve, Tolstyi, Razine, and Sukhyi Yar.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy tried 16 times to break through Ukrainian defense near Kostiantynopil, Novosilka, Vilne Pole, Novyi Komar, and toward Myrne, Shevchenko, Odradne, and Bahatyr. Three clashes continue. Aviation strikes hit Novopil, Voskresenka, and Myrne.
In the Huliaipole direction, Russian forces launched airstrikes with unguided air-to-surface rockets on Zaliznychne. No enemy offensive actions were recorded.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy showed no active actions since the start of the day.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces did not conduct offensive actions but launched an airstrike on Odradokamianka.
In Russia's Kursk direction, 11 clashes occurred since the start of the day, with three ongoing. Additionally, Russian forces carried out one airstrike by dropping a guided bomb and conducted 129 artillery shellings, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.
No significant changes have been reported in other directions.
Russian losses in the war in Ukraine
According to reports, from June 14 to 15, Russian forces lost another 1,170 personnel in battles against Ukraine. Since the full-scale invasion began, Russian losses have exceeded 1 million soldiers.
RBC-Ukraine also reported that in the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 33 artillery systems, 123 drones, and 89 enemy vehicles.
