As of 10:00 PM Kyiv time on June 7, a total of 155 combat engagements took place along the front line over the past 24 hours. The highest number of clashes was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, informs the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

Today, Russian forces launched three missile strikes and 65 airstrikes, using four missiles and 112 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 1,273 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,407 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled a Russian assault near Vovchansk. The enemy also launched guided bomb strikes on the city of Kharkiv.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attempted an assault near Stepova Novoselivka but failed.

In the Lyman direction, 18 attacks were recorded near Hrekivka, Novyi Myr, Ridkodub, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, and Bilohorivka. One clash is still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, ten combat engagements occurred near Chasiv Yar, Markove, and in the direction of Bila Hora and Predtechyne. One Russian assault is still underway.

In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled ten attacks near Toretsk, as well as toward Dyliivka and Yablunivka. One battle continues.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces tried to break through Ukrainian defenses 55 times. The attacks targeted the areas of Poltavka, Myroliubivka, Myrne, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Horikhove, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka, Novoukrainka, and Andriivka. Ukrainian forces repelled 51 assaults. Four combat engagements are still in progress.

"Ukrainian troops neutralized 317 enemy fighters in this direction alone. Of them, 179 were irrecoverable losses. A tank, two armored vehicles, 11 trucks, 37 motorcycles, 21 drones, a satellite terminal, and a generator were also destroyed. Five vehicles and three Russian artillery systems were damaged," the General Staff said.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian units are holding back enemy assaults near Bahatyr, Vesele, Burlatske, and Vilne Pole. Nineteen clashes occurred today, with five still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian forces successfully stopped a Russian advance near Malynivka. Fighting continues.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian troops halted an enemy push toward Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces made two unsuccessful attempts to advance.

In Russia's Kursk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 28 attacks. One engagement is ongoing.

There were no significant changes in other directions.

Russian losses in the war in Ukraine

As reported earlier, Russia lost another 1,120 troops in combat against Ukraine between June 6 and 7. Total Russian personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion now exceed 995,000.

In the past 24 hours, Ukraine's Armed Forces also destroyed 52 armored fighting vehicles, 56 artillery systems, and 166 pieces of automotive equipment.
