As of 4:00 PM Kyiv time, Ukrainian forces have recorded 100 combat engagements along the front line since the start of the day. Nearly a third of them took place in the Pokrovsk direction, informs the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

Today, Ukrainian border villages once again came under artillery fire from Russian territory. Among the affected settlements were Oleksandrivka, Bila Bereza, Starykove, Slavhorod, Malushyne, Brusky, Nova Huta, Mykolaivka, Porozok, and Dmytrivka in the Sumy region.

An airstrike hit the village of Osoivka in the same region. In addition, Russia launched missile strikes on the city of Chernihiv, as well as on Konotop and Krolevets in the Sumy region.

Frontline situation

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces made 30 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders out of their positions near the settlements of Malynivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Zvirove, Troitske, Yelyzavetivka, and Andriivka, as well as toward Zoria, Muravka, Oleksiivka, and Myroliubivka. Ukrainian Defense Forces held their ground and repelled 25 attacks. Five engagements are still ongoing. Russian losses are being clarified. Russian forces also launched airstrikes using guided bombs on the villages of Dovha Balka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, and Stepanivka.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions three times near Vovchansk, Stroivka, and Krasne Pershe. One battle is still underway.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces launched a single assault on Ukrainian positions near Nova Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops carried out 12 attacks toward Ridkodub, Zelena Dolyna, Novyi Myr, and near Hrekivka, Lypove, and Torske. Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully stopped all Russian attempts to advance.

In the Siversk direction, Russian forces tried three times to break through near Hryhorivka and close to Bilohorivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian troops launched four attacks against Ukrainian positions near Predtechyne, Bila Hora, and close to Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked in Toretsk and Dyliivka five times today. Two battles are still ongoing.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces launched 16 assaults near the villages of Kostiantynopil, Novosilka, and Vilne Pole, as well as in the direction of Komar, Zelene Pole, and Bahatyr. Two engagements are ongoing. The village of Novopil came under attack by unguided rockets.

In the Huliaipole direction, Russian aircraft struck the areas of Novodarivka and Malynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried three times to advance near Novoandriivka and Stepove. One battle is still ongoing. Russian airstrikes targeted Mala Tokmachka and Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian troops attempted twice to push forward near the village of Kozachi Laheri.

In Russia's Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 14 Russian attacks throughout the day. The enemy carried out five airstrikes, dropping ten guided bombs, and conducted 129 shelling attacks, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.

In other directions of the frontline, the situation remained largely unchanged.

The enemy's military losses

As a reminder, total Russian military losses in manpower have now exceeded 980,000 troops since the start of the full-scale invasion. Over the past day alone, from May 24 to 25, Russia lost another 1,020 soldiers.

Ukrainian forces also destroyed 68 artillery systems, 190 drones, and 112 vehicles.
