Ceasefire

As a reminder, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the Easter ceasefire for yesterday and today. According to him, he ordered the stopping of all combat operations.

However, in practice, while the number of battles decreased, they did not stop entirely. Still, starting from the late evening of April 19 and throughout the day on April 20, there were no air raid alerts in Ukraine.

Since the ceasefire was only partially effective, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed that Russia refrain from striking civilian infrastructure for 30 days. There had previously been a proposal to extend the full ceasefire, but Moscow has not responded. Just about an hour ago, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Ukraine of allegedly violating the ceasefire.
