Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of April 14

Since the beginning of April 14, there have been 67 combat engagements along the front line. Russian forces are concentrating their main efforts on the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kursk directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike near Slatyne.
In the Lyman direction, during the day, the Russian army launched 13 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Nadiia, Nove, Katerynivka, Hrekivka, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, Bilohorivka, and Hryhorivka. One of these engagements is still ongoing.
The Russian forces are looking for weak spots in Ukrainian defenses near Verkhniokamianske in the Siversk direction. Ukrainian defense forces have successfully repelled one enemy assault, and fighting is still underway.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian army attempted twice to advance on Ukrainian positions near Chasiv Yar and Andriivka. One engagement is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, four combat clashes have concluded, and two enemy assault operations are still in progress. The enemy is trying to push forward near Ozarianivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian forces made 19 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions near the settlements of Sukha Balka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka, and Andriivka. Ukrainian defense forces are holding back the enemy, repelling 16 enemy attacks. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attempted five times to break through Ukrainian defenses near the settlements of Kostiantynopil and Rozlyv. One clash is still in progress.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy launched airstrikes with unguided aerial rockets on Huliaipole and Zaliznychne.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy assaults near the settlements of Stepove, Lobkove, and Mali Shcherbaky.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the Russian army made two attempts to advance toward the positions of Ukrainian units.
In the Kursk direction, since the beginning of the day, there have been 12 battles, three of which are still ongoing. Additionally, the enemy conducted nine airstrikes, dropping 23 guided bombs, and carried out 246 artillery shellings.
Russia's losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost almost 934,000 military personnel.
In particular, over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,310 soldiers. Also yesterday, the Defense Forces destroyed 19 tanks, 42 armored combat vehicles, 59 artillery systems, 119 drones, and other enemy equipment.
