Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of February 27

Since the beginning of February 27, 88 combat clashes have occurred on the frontlines. Russian forces are most active in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy assaults near Vovchansk and Kindrashivka in the Kharkiv direction.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked in the areas of Yampolivka, Torske, and Kolodiazi. Four combat clashes have been recorded in this area, all successfully repelled by Ukrainian forces.
In the Siversk direction, near Bilohorivka, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled one enemy assault. The settlement of Siversk was hit by airstrikes using guided bombs.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian forces are repelling enemy attempts to advance near Vasiukivka. The enemy launched air strikes with guided bombs on Kramatorsk.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched eight attacks on Ukrainian positions near Krymske and Toretsk. Four clashes are ongoing. Additionally, the settlement of Kostiantynivka was struck by guided bombs.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 35 times today in the areas of Berezivka, Myrne, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Novoukrainka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Zaporizhzhia, and Bohdanivka, with ten combat clashes still ongoing. The Russian army dropped 15 guided bombs on the settlements of Oleksiivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, and Zvirove.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy intensified its activity near Novopil and Charivne. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled four attacks, and two combat clashes are still ongoing. The enemy carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Kamianske, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, and Novopil.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched seven attacks on Ukrainian defenders near Stepove, Piatykhatky, Novoandriivka, and Kamianske and carried out an airstrike with unguided missiles near Novoandriivka.
In the Kupiansk and Dnipropetrovsk directions, the enemy did not carry out any offensive actions since the beginning of the day.
Four combat clashes occurred today in the Kursk direction. Additionally, the enemy conducted 12 airstrikes, dropped 18 guided bombs, and carried out 191 artillery shellings, including 12 from MLRS.
Russia's losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost more than 871,000 personnel.
Over the past 24 hours alone, the Russian army lost 1,150 soldiers. Also yesterday, the Defense Forces destroyed 8 tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 69 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.
