Since the beginning of February 17, 80 combat clashes have occurred on the front lines. The fiercest fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian forces have launched 33 attacks on Ukrainian positions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk but were repelled. They also launched unguided air-to-surface missiles at Veterynarne and Okhrimivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces carried out four assaults near Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Zahryzove, and in the direction of Novoosynove. Two clashes are ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched six attacks on Ukrainian positions near Hrekivka, Zarichne, and Yampolivka, with two battles still underway.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces are trying to advance near Chasiv Yar and Vasiukivka. Ukrainian troops have repelled one of three attacks, while fighting continues.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian troops are attempting to break into the Ukrainian positions near Toretsk. Two attacks are ongoing, while three assaults have already been repelled.

In the Pokrovsk direction. since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have launched 33 assaults to push Ukrainian troops from their positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, Yasenove, Ulakly, Andriivka, and Dachne. Ukrainian forces have repelled 23 attacks, with 10 clashes still ongoing. Russian aviation struck Pokrovsk and Oleksiivka with guided bombs.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian forces repelled eight Russian assault attempts, while six more battles are still in progress. Russian troops are trying to advance near Novosilka, Rivnopil, Novyi Komar, and in the directions of Konstiantynopil and Burlatske.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack, while another battle is ongoing. Russian troops were active near Shcherbaky and Nesterianka.

The operation in the Kursk region is also underway. Ukrainian forces repelled six Russian attacks, with two battles still ongoing. Russian aircraft conducted 22 strikes, dropping 25 guided bombs.

Russia's losses in the war

According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost almost 859,000 military personnel.

In particular, over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,530 personnel. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 16 tanks, 52 armored combat vehicles, 37 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.
