Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of February 14

According to the General Staff, 99 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day. Ukrainian defenders continue to decisively repel the enemy's attempts to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting fire damage on them. Today, Russian forces:

• conducted 45 airstrikes,
• dropped 64 guided aerial bombs,
• used approximately 1,000 kamikaze drones,
• carried out over 4,500 shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, our forces are repelling an enemy attack near Hlyboke.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army launched offensive operations toward Zahryzove and Hlushkivka, where Ukrainian defenders stopped two enemy attacks, while two other battles were still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked the positions of the Defense Forces eight times near the settlements of Novoserhiivka, Zelenyi Hai, Bohuslavka, Nove, Hrekivka, and Kolodiazi. Three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, our defenders repelled two assaults by occupation forces near Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, and Hryhorivka, with one engagement still continuing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, two enemy assaults on the positions of our defenders near Chasiv Yar are ongoing. The Defense Forces successfully repelled one engagement.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions ten times near Toretsk, Krymske, and Shcherbynivka. Seven enemy assaults were successfully repelled by our defenders, while three battles are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked near the settlements of Zelenе Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novopavlivka, Uspenivka, Kotlyne, Andriivka, Dachne, Ulakly, and Shevchenko. Our defenders stopped 26 enemy assaults, with seven clashes continuing.

Today, in this direction, preliminary reports indicate that 153 Russian soldiers were neutralized, 84 of whom were irreversibly eliminated.

Additionally, five vehicles, a motorcycle, an anti-tank weapon, a Msta-B towed howitzer, four UAV antennas, a portable electronic warfare station, and three reconnaissance drones were destroyed. A tank and four Russian guns were also damaged.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attempted to break through our defenders' lines 13 times near the settlements of Kostyantynopil and Burlatske. Two engagements are still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike using five guided bombs on Hulyaipole.

In the Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi directions, the enemy did not engage in active operations today.

In the Kursk direction, there have been 13 engagements since the beginning of the day.

The General Staff highlighted units that are inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment:

• the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great,
• the 60th Separate Mechanized Inhulets Brigade,
• the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol,
• the 34th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade.

Russia's losses in the war

As of today, according to the General Staff, Russia has lost nearly 855,000 military personnel since the start of its full-scale invasion.

In particular, over the past day, Russian occupiers suffered losses of 1,200 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 17 tanks, 16 armored combat vehicles, 81 artillery systems, four multiple-launch rocket systems, three air defense systems, 152 operational-tactical drones, 156 vehicles, and one piece of specialized enemy equipment.
