As of 10:00 PM on December 13 (Kyiv time), 190 combat engagements had occurred at the frontline since the beginning of the day. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back Russian forces' offensive, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

Throughout the day, Russian forces launched two missile strikes, using 102 missiles. Additionally, 31 airstrikes were carried out, with 43 guided aerial bombs dropped. Russians also deployed 376 kamikaze drones and conducted nearly 2,500 shellings on Ukrainian military positions and civilian areas.

Frontline situation

The General Staff noted that the situation in the Pokrovsk and Vremivka directions remains tense, as the enemy concentrates its main offensive efforts there. Additionally, Russian forces actively attacked in the Lyman and Kurakhove directions today.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions once near Vovchansk. The fighting is still ongoing. The enemy carried out airstrikes with guided aerial bombs on Hranove and Vovchanski Khutory.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions ten times near Kolisnykivka, Bohuslavka, Zahryzove, and Lozova. Two battles are still ongoing. The enemy also carried out airstrikes on Nova Kruhliakivka and Bohuslavka.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian defenders 24 times today in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Nadiia, Zelenyi Hai, Shyikivka, Makiivka, Terny, Zarichne, Torske, Dibrova, and Cherneshchyna. One battle is ongoing. Serebryansky forest and Serhiivka were attacked with NARs.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled one assault by the enemy near Bilohorivka. The enemy dropped a guided aerial bomb on Siversk.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks by Russians, who attempted to advance in the area of Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted to improve its position nine times in Toretsk and the Diliivka area. Ukrainian forces repelled seven attacks, and two more are ongoing. The enemy dropped two guided aerial bombs on Krymske.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces launched 56 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of the settlements of Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Promin, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Novyi Trud, Zelenyi, Pishchane, and Pushkine. Ten combat clashes are still ongoing.

"According to preliminary estimates, today, Russian forces in the Pokrovsk direction suffered the loss of 306 soldiers killed and wounded. Our forces destroyed two units of enemy vehicles. Additionally, Ukrainian defenders caused significant damage to an enemy tank," the General Staff reports.

In the Kurakhove direction, 26 enemy attacks have been recorded. Six of these are ongoing. Most of the fighting continues in Staryi Terny, Sontsivka, Zoria, Kurakhove, Dalne, Dachne, Hannivka, and Uspenivka.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian forces launched 34 assaults on the frontline in the areas of the settlements of Trudove, Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopolske, Sukhi Yaly, Blahodatne, Storozheve, Neskuchne. Ten attacks are still ongoing. The enemy also conducted airstrikes on Velyka Novosilka and Zelene Pole.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian positions.

In addition, Ukrainian forces continue operations in the Kursk region, repelling 19 enemy attacks and engaging in three ongoing combat clashes.

"Today, we recognize the effective combat work of the 3rd Brigade of Operational Assignment named after Colonel Petro Bolbochan, the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Corporal General Oleksiy Almazov, the 38th Separate Marine Brigade, the 68th Separate Jager Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, and the 425th Separate Assault Battalion Skala, who are firmly holding the line and inflicting significant losses on the enemy," the General Staff concluded.

Notably, as of the morning of December 13, Russia has lost over 760,000 military personnel since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Over the past 24 hours, from December 12 to 13, enemy's losses amounted to 1,390 soldiers.
