Over the past day, December 12, 210 combat engagements took place in the frontline. Most of the fighting took place in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit seven areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the Russian invaders,” Ukraine's General Staff writes.

Sectors

In the Kharkiv sector, Russia attacked 8 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, and Starytsia.

In the Kupiansk sector, 8 Russian attacks were repelled near Synkivka, Zahryzove, Dvorichna, and Lozova.

In the Lyman sector, 22 Russian attacks were repelled. Russians tried to advance near Kopanky, Novoyehorivka, Lozova, Nadiia, Makiivka, Terny, and Serebrianske forestry.

In the Kramatorsk sector, 7 Russian attacks were repelled in the area of Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka, and in the direction of Stupochky and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, Russians launched 4 attacks in the area of Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 47 Russian assault and offensive actions were stopped in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachanske, Novyi Trud, Pishchane, Shevchenko and Chumatske.

In the Kurakhove sector, 51 Russian attacks were repelled. Russia concentrated its efforts in the areas of Sontsivka, Stari Terny, Kurakhove, Dalne, and Uspenivka.

In the Vremivka sector, the Russians launched 31 attacks in the areas of Sukhi Yaly, Kostiantynopolske, Rozdolne, Neskuchne, and Novodarivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russians conducted 2 attacks in the direction of Novodanylivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian invaders attacked positions 5 times.

In the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 21 Russian attacks.

Russia's losses in war against Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost more than 760,000 manpower. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,390 Russian troops and destroyed 5 Russian tanks, 31 armored combat vehicles, and more.
