The number of combat engagements surged to 192 over the past 24 hours. Russian forces launched the most significant assaults in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, according to Ukraine’s General Staff of the Armed Forces.

"Missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out three strikes on areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were concentrated over the past day," the General Staff reported.

Situation on key frontline directions

  • Kharkiv direction: Six Russian attacks were repelled near Vovchansk, Hlyboke, and Kozacha Lopan.
  • Kupiansk direction: 13 enemy attacks were stopped near Lozova, Stelmakhivka, Kolisnykivka, and Pershotravneve.
  • Lyman direction: Nine Russian assaults were repelled near Pershotravneve, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Yampolivka, and Terny.
  • Kramatorsk direction: Three attacks were thwarted near Stupochky, Bila Hora, and Chasiv Yar.
  • Toretsk direction: Ukrainian forces blocked three advances near Toretsk and Nelipivka.
  • Pokrovsk direction: Russian forces attempted 44 attacks near Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promin, Dachenske, Chumatske, and Novopustynka.
  • Kurakhove direction: 44 enemy attacks were repelled near Sontsivka, Zoria, Dalnie, Kurakhove, Yelizavetivka, and Hannivka.
  • Vremivka direction: Ukrainian forces halted 25 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Sukhi Yaly, Rozdolne, Makarivka, and Novodarivka.
  • Orikhiv direction: Four enemy advances were stopped near Robotyne, Novodanylivka, and Novoandriivka.
  • Prydniprovske direction: Seven unsuccessful Russian assaults targeted Ukrainian positions.

Russian losses in the war

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost approximately 747,000 personnel. Over the past day, Ukrainian forces eliminated an additional 1,670 Russian troops and destroyed:

  • 7 tanks;
  • 31 armored personnel vehicles;
  • 26 artillery systems, among other equipment.
