Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 30

As of 16:00 on November 30, 153 combat engagements took place in the frontline since the beginning of the day. The largest number of engagements was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Enemy shelling
Today, Russian artillery and MLRS fire affected areas of settlements:
- Velyka Berizka, Porozok, Bachivsk of Sumy region;
- Senkivka, Chernihiv region;
- Tymofiivka, Kharkiv region.
Situation at the frontlines
In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian troops unsuccessfully attacked the defensive lines of Ukrainian units near Vovchansk, Kozacha Lopan, and Hoptivka eight times.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled three enemy attacks near Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Lozova, Zahryzove, and Novoyehorivka, and three more engagements are still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the invading army carried out 13 assault and offensive actions near Hrekivka, Druzheliubivka, Novoyehorivka, Zarichne, Terny, and Torske, and three more combat engagements are still ongoing.
Our defenders repelled ten enemy attacks, and two more combat engagements are ongoing in the Kramatorsk direction, near Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne, and Stupochky.
There were 12 firefights near Toretsk, Nelipivka, and Shcherbynivka in the Toretsk direction.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has made 28 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Krasnyi Yar, Dachenske, Zhovte, Chumatske, and Novyi Trud. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have repelled 26 enemy attacks. Two firefights are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy conducted 38 attacks near Sontsivka, Berestky, Zorya, Novodmitrivka, Kurakhove, Dachne, Dalne, Katerynivka, Romanivka, Antonivka, Hanivka, and Uspenivka. 12 clashes are still ongoing.
Fifteen times our defenders repelled enemy attacks in the Vremivka direction near Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopolske, Rozlyv, Velyka Novosilka, and Novopil.
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Siversk, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, and Prydniprovskyi directions at this time of day.
As of the morning of November 30, Russian troops lost 1740 soldiers at the front over the past day. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 5 tanks and 23 artillery systems. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, Russia has lost more than 740 thousand soldiers.
