During the 24 hours from November 29 to November 30, the Russian army suffered losses of 1,740 soldiers, 5 tanks, and 23 artillery systems on the front lines, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to November 30, 2024, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 740,400 (+1,740) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 9,463 (+5);
  • armored personnel vehicle - 19,355 (+12);
  • artillery systems - 20,909 (+23);
  • MLRS - 1,253 (+2);
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,019;
  • airplanes - 369;
  • helicopters - 329;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 19,792 (+42);
  • cruise missiles - 2,851;
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • motor vehicles and fuel tanks - 30,431 (+72);
  • special equipment - 3,617 (+2).

Situation on the front line and drone strike attacks

According to ISW, the Defense Forces have advanced in the Vuhledar area, while Russian forces have made gains near Kupiansk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Velyka Novosilka.

Last night, the aggressor's forces once again attacked Ukraine using Shahed-type kamikaze drones. Air raid alerts were issued in several eastern, central, and southern regions.

In Kyiv, the alert was declared around 4:00 a.m. Air defense forces successfully shot down several drones in the suburbs of the capital.

Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy highlighted the main challenge facing the Armed Forces of Ukraine at this stage of the war.
