Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 28

Over the past day, Russian forces conducted large-scale attacks in various directions using aviation, artillery, kamikaze drones, and multiple rocket launcher systems. A total of 157 combat clashes occurred during this period, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"Yesterday, the enemy launched 21 airstrikes on Ukrainian unit positions and settlements, dropping 39 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces carried out nearly 4,800 shellings, including 154 from MLRS, and deployed 1,672 kamikaze drones for strikes," the statement informs.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of the Ukrainian troops in the areas of Vovchansk and Tykhe five times. In the Kupiansk direction, 17 attacks were recorded, particularly near Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Zelenyi Hai, and Kruhliakivka.
In the Lyman direction, the Russian military carried out four attacks, concentrating its efforts near Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, and Torske. In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces were active near Bila Hora, but Ukrainian units repelled one assault.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russian army attacked six times, using up to ten guided bombs. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 37 attacks near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zhovte, and Chumatske.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the Russian military carried out 39 attacks, concentrating their efforts in the areas of Sontsivka, Berestky, Kurakhove, and Yelyzavetivka. In the Vremivka direction, the enemy launched 18 assaults with the support of aviation near Trudove, Rozdolne, and Novodarivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces conducted six assaults but received a decisive rebuff and suffered significant losses.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the enemy offensive group formations have been present. Meanwhile, Russia continues to shell Ukrainian territories near the border in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 enemy attacks over the past 24 hours, with ongoing fighting.
Russian losses
In a day on November 27, the Ukrainian forces eliminated 1,220 Russian soldiers. The total Russian military losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion exceeded 736 thousand personnel.
