Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 26
As of the evening of November 26, 208 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. Russia is most active in the Kurakhove and Pokrovske directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia launched one missile strike using one missile, 31 airstrikes using 57 combat aircraft, over kamikaze drones 700 strikes, and fired more than 3,300 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements using various types of weapons.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, there were 5 firefights with Russian invaders. All of them were repelled by Ukrainian troops in the area of Vovchansk. The village of Pytomnyk was attacked by 3 Russian guided aerial bombs.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russia tried 17 times to force Ukrainian units out of their positions near Hryhorivka, Zelenyi Hai, Zahryzove, Senkove, Kolisnykivka, Synkivka and Andriivka. Russia dropped one guided aerial bomb on Kurylivka.
Russia attacked 21 times in the Lyman sector, trying to advance in the directions of Hrekivka, Druzhkivka, Cherneshchyna, Makiivka, Terny, and Torske. In addition, the settlements of Ivanivka, Lyman, and Zarichne were attacked by 9 Russian guided aerial bombs.
In the Siversk sector, Russians attacked near Hryhorivka but were unsuccessful. At the same time, Russia launched a guided missile attack on Sloviansk.
The areas near Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Bila Hora, Predtechyne, and Dyliivka were attacked by Russians in the Kramatorsk sector 13 times. The situation in the sector is under control, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are steadily holding their positions.
Russia tried to break into Ukrainian defense in the Toretsk sector 6 times. Russians acted in the areas of Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka, and Toretsk, all Russian attacks were repelled, and Russians were not successful. Toretsk, Katerynivka, and Kramatorsk were attacked from the air, Russia dropped 6 guided bombs in total.
Russia is intensively attacking Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk sector. During the day, Russia carried out 32 assault and offensive actions there. Russian occupants are most active in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Krasnyi Yar, Lysivka, and Chumatske.
In total, Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 29 attacks in the area, and three more firefights are ongoing in the areas of Pustynka and Novyi Trud. The situation is difficult but under the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian soldiers are making efforts to prevent Russian troops from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory.
As of today, Russia's losses in this sector amounted to 169 troops killed and 219 wounded. A car and a motorcycle were destroyed. In addition, one more vehicle and 3 armored personnel carriers were severely damaged.
In the Kurakhove sector, there are 39 combat engagements as of this time of day. Russian invaders remain highly active, trying to advance in the areas of Dachne, Novodmitrivka, Kurakhove, Dalne, Katerynivka, Yelizavetivka, Hanivka, and Antonivka. Ukrainian Defense Forces units repelled 26 Russian attacks, and 13 attacks in the areas of Berestky, Zoria, and Sontsivka are still ongoing.
Over the last day, Russia lost 90 troops killed and wounded in this sector. Two armored personnel carriers and one armored personnel vehicle were destroyed. Three armored personnel carriers, one cannon, and one vehicle were damaged.
In the Vremivka sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 12 Russian attacks near Trudove, Kostiantynopolske, Rozdolne, Novoandriivka, and Rivne. 4 more firefights in the area of Veselyi Hai are still ongoing.
Russia did not conduct any active operations in the Huliaipole sector.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian invaders actively used aviation in Mala Tokmachka, Temyrivka, and Pavlivka, dropping ten guided aerial bombs.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 5 Russian attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions. Russia was not successful.
“Ukrainian Defense Forces continue the operation in the Kursk region. Russian aircraft strikes with guided aerial bombs on the territory of Russia. There are 11 air strikes involving 17 guided aerial bombs and 196 artillery attacks, including four from multiple launch rocket systems,” Ukraine's General Staff adds.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost over 733,000 manpower units.
In particular, over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,480 Russian troops and destroyed 6 tanks, 20 armored combat vehicles, 19 artillery systems, and other Russian equipment.
