Russia-Ukraine war - Frontline update as of November 23

As of 16:00 on November 23, 125 combat engagements took place along the entire frontline during the day. The Russian troops continue their attacks, especially in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Enemy's shelling
The Russian military does not stop using artillery and aviation on the territory of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. The areas of Khrinivka, Bilovody, Oleksandriya, Zhuravka, and Obody came under enemy fire.
According to the available information, the Russians fired 110 times at the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, including 9 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
Situation on the frontlines
The General Staff said that the occupants continue to use aviation, in particular UAVs, and carry out attacks in all directions of eastern and southern Ukraine, especially in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors.
Thus, four combat engagements took place in the Kharkiv sector today. Our troops repelled two Russian attacks near Vovchansk, and two more combat engagements are still ongoing in the area of Tykhyne.
Eight invaders' attacks were repelled by our troops near Hlushkivka, Synkivka, Zahryzove, Novoplatonivka, and Zelenyi Hai in the Kupyansk sector, and one more firefight is still ongoing. The enemy launched an air strike near Lozova.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked seven times without result in the areas of Druzhelyubivka, Tverdokhlibove, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, and Terny.
With the support of aviation in the Siversk sector near Bilohorivka, our defenders repelled one enemy attack.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy unsuccessfully stormed Ukrainian positions in the vicinity of Stupochky once today. The enemy also launched an air strike with unguided missiles near Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian forces' positions in the neighborhood of Toretsk twice in vain, while launching air strikes with guided aerial bombs in the areas of Toretsk, Nelipivka, Katerynivka, Ivanopillia, and Zorya, dropping ten bombs in total.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the Russian proxies have attacked 28 times since the beginning of the day in the areas of Promin, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Myrnohrad, Hryhorivka, Dachanske, Zhovte, Pushkine, Petrivka and Pustynka, 23 of which were repelled, and fierce fighting is ongoing. The enemy also bombarded Yablunivka, Zorya, Oleksandropil, Hrodivka, Myroliubivka, and Yelyzavetivka, dropping a total of 16 guided missiles.
In the Kurakhove sector, five firefights continued in the areas of Berestky, Dalmine, and Romanivka. Seventeen enemy attacks have already been repelled by our defenders in the areas of Sontsivka, Zorya, Novodmitrivka, Kurakhove, Katerynivka, and Antonivka.
In the Vremivka sector, seven attacks continue near Velyka Novosilka and Novodarivka, and 18 enemy attacks in the area of Trudove, Sukhi Yaliv, and Rivnopillia have already been repelled.
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Orikhivske and Huliaypillia directions.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled three Russian attacks.
Over the last day, from November 22 to November 23, the Russian army lost 1420 soldiers at the front. In total, Russia's losses since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine amount to 729,720 soldiers.
