Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 21

There have been 114 combat clashes since the start of the day on November 21. The heaviest Russian attacks are taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, according to the General Staff of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
According to the General Staff, today, communities in the settlements of Volfyne, Kliusy, Pokrovka, and Zhuravka in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions were affected by enemy artillery, mortars, and multiple rocket launch systems.
Situation on the fronts
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy made six assaults on our positions near Vovchansk, and fighting continues.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian army attacked the Defense Forces 12 times in the areas of Petropavlivka, Kolysnykivka, Zahryzove, and Lozova. Five clashes are still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the invader army also carried out twelve attacks on Ukrainian positions near Tverdokhlibove, Novoehorivka, Hrekivka, Terny, Torske, and in the Serebryanske forestry. Ten battles ended, and two are ongoing. Ukrainian forces are steadfastly holding the defense and inflicting losses on the enemy.
In the Siversk direction, enemy aviation struck Kuzmynivka with KAB (guided aerial bombs) bombs.
In the Kramatorsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy attacked twice near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky, and fighting continues.
In the Toretsk direction, the aggressor attempted four times to break through our defense near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. The enemy actively used aviation, launching KAB bombs at Toretsk, Kalynivka, Ivanopillia, and Kostiantynivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 30 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Petrivka, Chumatske, and Pustynka. Defense forces have repelled 22 attacks, and eight clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy army launched 21 attacks near Berestky, Sontsivka, Zoria, Kurakhove, Dalnie, Katerynivka, and Antonivka. Nine enemy attempts to advance have been repelled. Fighting continues. The enemy dropped seven aerial bombs on Andriivka.
In the Vremivka direction, there were seven enemy attacks towards Trudove, Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Sukhi Yaly, and near Novodariivka. Three battles are still ongoing. Under enemy bomb attacks, Ulakly and Velyka Novosilka were targeted.
In the Orikhiv direction, occupation forces made one assault on the positions of the Defense Forces near Piatykhatky.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy attack continues.
"The operation in the Kursk region continues. Since the beginning of the day, Russian planes have made 15 strikes with 22 KAB bombs on their own territory. Ukrainian soldiers have repelled 11 attempts by the invaders to break through our defense, and fighting is ongoing," the General Staff added.
Russian losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost about 727,000 personnel.
Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces have eliminated another 1,510 Russian soldiers, as well as destroyed 8 tanks, 24 armored combat vehicles, 50 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.
