As of 10:00 PM on November 19 (Kyiv time), 130 combat engagements have occurred at the frontline since the start of the day. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled over 20 attempts by Russian forces to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions in the Kursk region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

The General Staff reported that Russian forces carried out 51 airstrikes today, including 78 guided bombs, launched 600 kamikaze drone attacks, and conducted nearly 3,500 shelling incidents targeting Ukrainian forces.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces launched five assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk. The enemy dropped air bombs in the areas of Neskuchne, Vysoka Yaruha, and Nova Kozacha.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenses were attacked 11 times near Kindrashivka, Lozova, Petropavlivka, Zahryzove, Pershotravneve, and Kruhliakivka. Petropavlivka and Lozova were struck by airstrikes.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops conducted 14 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Hryhorivka, Torske, and Terny. The enemy also deployed guided bombs in the Raihorodok area.

In the Siversk direction, nine Russian air bombs targeted Siversk, and four struck Zakytne. No offensive ground actions were reported.

In the Kramatorsk direction, one engagement occurred near Stupochky. Stinky and Mykolaivka were struck by guided bombs.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces launched eight assaults near Toretsk, Druzhba, and Shcherbynivka without success. One engagement is ongoing in Toretsk. The enemy conducted airstrikes on Romanivka, Kostiantynivka, and Sukha Balka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces carried out 37 assaults and offensive actions throughout the day. Intense activity was observed near Promin, Lysivka, Petrivka, Dachenske, Myroliubivka, Novotoretske, Yurivka, Pustynka, and Pushkyne. Four engagements are still ongoing.

"The enemy’s estimated losses in this direction include 328 personnel killed or wounded, one tank destroyed, three armored personnel vehicles, and eight vehicles. One tank, one artillery piece, two vehicles, and one self-propelled artillery unit were damaged. Stara Mykolaivka and Oleksandropil were struck by guided bombs," the General Staff reported.

In the Kurakhove direction, 22 enemy attacks have been recorded so far. Russian forces attempted to advance near Novoselydivka, Sontsivka, Berestky, Kurakhove, Dalne, Yelyzavetivka, and Antonivka. One engagement is ongoing near Sontsivka.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, launched 15 assaults on the forward edge of Ukrainian defenses near Kostiantynopolske, Trudove, Sukhi Yaly, Rozdolne, and Novodarivka. Four engagements remain active.

In the Orikhiv direction, an enemy attempt to advance near Novoandriivka ended in failure.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy attacks without allowing the enemy to gain ground.

"Today, we recognize the steadfast resilience of Ukrainian troops from the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Transcarpathian Brigade, the 126th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces, the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade Sicheslav, the 71st Separate Jager Brigade of the AirAssault Troops of Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the 38th Separate Marine Brigade, who continue to hold back the enemy's overwhelming forces," the General Staff stated.

As a reminder, Russian forces suffered 1,610 soldiers over the past day. As of November 19, marking the 1,000th day of the full-scale war, total Russia's losses have exceeded 724,000 personnel.
