Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 15
Over the last day, November 14, 144 combat engagements took place on the frontline. Russia put the most pressure on the Kurakhove sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two times at Russian concentrations of manpower, weapons, and military equipment, and four ammunition depots were destroyed,” Ukraine's General Staff writes.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, Russia attacked 4 times near Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, 11 Russian attacks were repelled in Holubivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Hlushkivka, and beyond.
In the Lyman sector, Russians attacked 9 times near Katerynivka, Druzheliubivka, Nevske, Terny, and Torske.
2 Russian attacks near Verkhniokamianske were repelled in the Siversk sector.
Russians tried to break through the defense once near Predtechyne in the Kramatorsk sector.
In the Toretsk sector, 11 Russian attacks were repelled near Dyliivka, Toretsk, and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 24 Russian attacks were repelled in the vicinity of Promin, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pushkine, Zhovte, and Pustynka.
In the Kurakhove sector, Russians tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 37 times.
In the Vremivka sector, 12 Russian attacks were repelled in the areas of Makarivka, Yantarne, Rivne, and Novodarivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, 2 firefights took place near Novodanylivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russians conducted four attacks.
Russia's losses
As of today, Russia's losses in manpower since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine exceed 717,000 units. Over the past day alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,520 Russian troops, 11 tanks, 21 armored combat vehicles, and 20 artillery systems.
