Over the past day, 169 combat engagements took place on the frontline, indicating a high level of activity in various sectors, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russia launched 3 missile attacks using five missiles and conducted 90 air strikes, including 142 guided aerial bombs. In addition, more than 4,400 attacks were recorded, 98 of which were made from multiple-launch rocket systems, and 1,564 kamikaze drones were used.

Sectors

Kharkiv sector: Russia tried to advance four times in the area of Vovchansk.

Kupiansk sector: There were 16 combat engagements, Russian attacks were concentrated in the areas of Holubivka, Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Berestove, and others.

Lyman sector: Ukrainian troops repelled 9 Russian attacks, with the main fighting taking place near Hrekivka, Terny, and Dibrova.

Toretsk sector: Russia conducted air strikes on several localities and tried to advance 4 times.

Pokrovsk sector: 27 Russian attacks were repelled, and Russians tried to break through near Myroliubivka, Lysivka, and other localities.

Kurakhove sector: Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully held off 27 breakthrough attempts in the areas of Illinka, Ostrovske, and other localities.

Vremivka sector: 12 Russian attacks were stopped.

Orikhiv sector: An attempt of Russian advance was registered.

Prydniprovskyi sector: 3 Russian attacks proved to be ineffective.

The situation remains stable in the Volyn and Polissia sectors, with no signs of new offensive groups forming. On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russian troops maintain a military presence and continue shelling.

Kursk sector: 13 Russian attacks were repelled, despite 28 air strikes and the use of 40 guided missiles.

Over the past day, Ukrainian missile forces and artillery struck 3 times at Russian troops' concentrations, destroying 3 artillery systems and an operational-tactical missile system.

Russian losses

Over the last day, from November 3 to 4, Russian troops lost 1300 soldiers. Russia's total losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine have exceeded 700,000 soldiers.
