Since the start of the day, as of 10:00 p.m. on November 3 (Kyiv time), 160 combat clashes have been recorded along the frontline. The enemy’s main efforts are concentrated in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

Today, Russian forces launched one missile strike, conducted 62 airstrikes, and dropped 84 guided bombs. Additionally, Russians deployed about 582 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out over 3,500 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and civilian areas.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces attempted four unsuccessful assaults near Vovchansk and dropped air bombs on Muravske, Kovali, and Zrubanka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 16 times. Ukrainian forces repelled ten assaults near Holubivka, Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Berestove, Zahryzove, Kruhliakivka, Vyshneve, and Pershotravneve. Six clashes remain ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian defenders nine times today in the areas of Hrekivka, Terny, and Dibrova.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted four attacks to improve its position near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. Additionally, Russian aircraft bombarded areas around Druzhba, Toretsk, and Petrivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 27 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Novohrodivka, and Vyshneve. Four engagements are still underway.

"According to preliminary estimates, today, Russian forces in the Pokrovsk direction suffered 213 casualties, including those killed and wounded. An artillery system, an armored vehicle, and three vehicles were also destroyed. Ukrainian defenders inflicted heavy damage on four artillery systems and an enemy tank," the General Staff stated.

In the Kurakhove direction, 72 attacks were recorded by this time of day, with 14 still ongoing. Fighting remains concentrated around Novoselydivka, Vovchenka, Kreminna Balka, Antonivka, and Katerynivka.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy launched 11 assaults on Ukrainian forward defensive lines near Trudove, with two assaults still underway.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy failed to attack Ukrainian positions.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct operations in the Kursk direction.

"Today, we recognize the effective combat performance of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade Edelweiss, the 35th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrogradskyi, and the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa, who are steadfastly holding their lines and dealing significant losses to the enemy," the General Staff summarized.

As a reminder, Russian losses from November 2 to 3 amounted to 1,410 soldiers. Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed ten artillery systems and 12 tanks.
