On the last day, 134 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. The situation was the most difficult in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russia launched 2 missile attacks and 82 air strikes against Ukrainian positions and settlements, using 136 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russia fired more than 4,000 artillery rounds, 154 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian troops attacked settlements in Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Despite the Russian attacks, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to successfully repel Russia's attacks. Ukraine's aviation, missile forces and artillery launched nine strikes on the areas where Russian troops were concentrated and hit 2 bridges.

The fiercest fighting took place in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Toretsk, and Kurakhove sectors, where Ukrainian defenders repelled dozens of Russian assaults and offensive actions.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russia tried to break through the defense by launching 46 attacks, but all of them were successfully repelled.

In the north of Ukraine, Russian troops continue to use artillery and aviation against the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk region, including 41 air strikes on the region.

Russian losses

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to successfully counter Russian aggression. Over the past day, 1,350 Russian troops were destroyed, as well as 34 artillery systems, 71 drones, and 8 Russian tanks.
