On September 27, there were 180 combat engagements along the front lines, with the hottest fighting occurring in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped 47 enemy assault and offensive actions toward the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Novotoretske, Mykolaivka, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Dachinske, Marivka, Selidove, and Novotoretske," the report states.
The highest concentration of enemy attacks was noted near Mykhailivka and Novotoretske.
Situation in other directions
In the Kharkiv direction, six enemy attacks occurred in the areas of Vovchansk and Tykhe.
In the Kupiansk direction, there were 19 attacks by the occupiers throughout the day. Defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions toward Synkivka, Novoselivka, Hlushkivka, Krugliakivka, Kucherivka, and Lozova.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 16 attacks, attempting to advance near six different settlements, with a focus near Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Zarichne, Torske, and Novosadove.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked nine times in the areas of Hryhorivka, Predtechyne, Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out seven attacks near Toretsk, Shcherbanivka, and New York.
In the Kurakhiv direction, defense forces repelled 28 attacks, with the enemy focusing their efforts in the areas of Tsukuryne, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, and Katerynivka.
In the Vremivka direction, the enemy conducted 13 assaults on our positions near Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Vodiane, and Katerynivka, actively using assault and bomber aircraft for strikes.
In the Orihiv and Huliaipole directions, near Novodarivka, Robotyne, and Mali Shcherbaky, they faced strong resistance, with a total of three attacks carried out. The terrorists used over a dozen guided aerial bombs for airstrikes.
In the Dnipro direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine twice, receiving a harsh rebuff and suffering losses.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.
Along the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery and aviation from Russian territory against Ukrainian settlements.
Operations continue in the Kursk region.
Russian losses in Ukraine
On September 27, Russian losses amounted to 1,470 soldiers. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 14 tanks, 42 armoured fighting vehicles, 55 artillery systems, four multiple rocket launchers, 62 tactical-level drones, two cruise missiles, and 99 units of enemy special equipment.
Additionally, aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the defense forces struck six areas of troop concentration, destroyed two command posts, and hit two artillery systems.
