Russian forces have intensified their activity in the Lyman direction, with the number of attacks now matching the number of assaults in the Pokrovsk area, according to the General Staff's updates.
"In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 28 times, attempting to breach the defense near Druzheliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Hrekivka, Nevske, Torske, Tern, Makiivka, Novosadove, and Bilohorivka," the report states.
In comparison, on the "hot" directions — Pokrovsk and Kurakhove — the Ukrainian Armed Forces halted 28 and 25 attacks by Russian forces, respectively. Notably, in the Kurakhove direction, the occupiers attempted to advance near the settlement of Hrihorivka. Additionally, the enemy attacked toward Tsukuryno, Hirske, Kostiantynivka, Katerynivka, and Zhelanne Druhe.
Situation on directions
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to storm near the settlement of Vovchansk. Furthermore, enemy aviation struck residential areas in Kharkiv using guided bombs, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure.
In the Kupiansk direction, seven attacks by the invaders occurred over the day. Defense forces repelled assault actions by the enemy near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kruhliakivka, Kotlyiarivka, Stelmakhivka, and Lozova.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled an assault by Russian invaders near Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers launched 11 attacks in the areas of Kalynivka, Maiske, Andriivka, and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, carried out 12 attacks near Nelipivka, Toretsk, and Shcherbynivka.
In the Vremivka direction, the enemy made nine assaults on our positions in the areas of Vuhledar, Katerynivka, Vodiane, and Pavlivka, actively using bomber aviation for strikes in the area.
In the Huliaipole direction, Russian invaders unsuccessfully attacked in the vicinity of Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupation forces stormed the defense positions four times in the areas of Robotyne, Novoandriivka, and Novodanylivka.
Operations continue in the Kursk region, with enemy aviation continuing to level its own villages and towns. Over the past day, Russian aircraft carried out 26 airstrikes with 33 guided bombs on their own territory.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formations have been detected.
Along the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery and aviation from Russian territory against areas of Ukrainian settlements.
Russian losses in Ukraine
Russian losses for the day totaled 1,500 soldiers. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 22 tanks, 52 armored personnel carriers, 63 artillery systems, two multiple rocket launchers, 67 drones, 57 vehicles, and 19 units of special equipment.
Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck six enemy command points of various types, 18 areas of personnel concentration, two locations of weapons and military equipment, and four enemy artillery systems.
