Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of September 14

As of 16:00 on September 14, 83 combat engagements were registered in the frontline over the last day. Most of them took place in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk sectors, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
Today, the enemy continues to use aviation and artillery in the border areas of the Sumy region. In particular, the areas of Nova Huta, Grabovske, Vovkivka, Sopych, Ulanove, Novodmytrivka, and Bachivsk came under artillery fire. Nova Huta, Obody, Iskryskivshchyna, Pavlivka, Bilopillia, and Kindrativka were hit by air strikes.
Situation at the frontlines
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops near Vovchansk three times.
The enemy attacked four times in the Kupiansk direction towards Lozova and Synkivka. One attack was repelled by the Defense Forces, three firefights are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked in the areas of Druzheliubivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Novosadove, Zarichne, Serebrianka, and Terny. A total of 11 combat engagements have taken place in this sector since the beginning of the day, five are still ongoing. The situation is under control.
The enemy continues to try to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Siversk direction but is receiving a tough rebuff from Ukrainian units. Thus, near Verkhnekamianske and Vyimka, the invaders twice tried to push our units, and one engagement has not yet been completed.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders made one attack near Andriivka.
The number of hostile attacks in the Toretsk direction increased to six. The enemy, with the support of aviation, is attacking near Toretsk, where Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks, Druzhba and Nelipivka, where four attacks have already been repelled, and two more clashes are ongoing. Konstantynivka, Kleban-Byk, and Katerynivka were attacked with guided bombs, and Druzhba was hit with unguided aerial missiles.
The enemy is attacking Ukrainian defenders intensively in the Pokrovsk direction. Over the course of the day, the aggressor carried out 23 attacks in the areas of Sukha Balka, Vozdvyzhenka, Zelene Pole, Novooleksandrivka, Novotoretsk, Hrodivka, Krasnyi Yar, Novohrodivka and Marynivka. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 23 enemy attacks, with six battles still ongoing.
In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy attacked our units 27 times since the beginning of the day. He tried to advance near Selidove, Ukrayinsk, Krasnohorivka, Dolyna, Zhelane Druhe, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, and Katerynivka, and three firefights are currently underway near Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka.
In the Vremivka direction, Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks toward Vodiane and Zolota Nyva, and the enemy's attempts to advance did not bring any success.
The towns of Pyatykhatky and Lobkove in the Orikhiv direction were attacked with unguided aerial missiles.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, two attacks by the invaders were unsuccessful.
The General Staff noted that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is taking all necessary measures to deter the enemy's offensive and stabilize the situation.
Over the day of September 13, Russian losses at the front amounted to 1210 soldiers. In total, during the full-scale war, the enemy lost 632,630 soldiers.
