Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of September 13

Over the past day, September 12, 143 combat engagements took place along the front line, with the heaviest fighting recorded in the Kurakhove direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
"During the past 24 hours, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck an enemy pontoon crossing, a command post, an air defense system, eight artillery pieces in firing positions, 11 areas where personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, as well as two other critical targets of the Russian invaders," the General Staff reported.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked four times near the village of Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, there were eight enemy assaults near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Kolisnykivka, Stelmakhivka, and Lozova.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched six attacks, attempting to advance towards Nevske and Druzheliubivka.
In the Siversk direction, five enemy attacks were repelled near Verkhniokamianske.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked four times in the areas of Chasiv Yar and the village of Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, with air support, the enemy conducted six attacks near Nelipivka, Toretsk, and the New York area.
In the Pokrovsk direction, 36 enemy assaults were repelled toward Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Zelenyi Hai, Novotroitske, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, Selydove, and Mykhailivka.
In the Kurakhove direction, 64 attacks were repelled, with 75% of the battles occurring around Kostyiantynivka and Heorhiivka. Additionally, the enemy attacked Oleksandropol and Zhelanne Pershe.
In the Vremivka direction, five assaults on Ukrainian positions were made near Vodiane and Zolota Nyva.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked in the area of Robotyne.
In the Prydniprovske direction, Russian forces attacked the positions of the Defense Forces six times.
Russia's war losses
Since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has lost over 631,000 personnel. In the past day, the Defense Forces eliminated 1,220 invaders and destroyed:
- 18 tanks;
- 48 armored fighting vehicles;
- 52 artillery systems, among other equipment.
