Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of August 11

Over 100 combat clashes occurred on the front. The Pokrovsk direction remains the most challenging, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, 114 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy continued assault operations, with six clashes occurring in the vicinity of Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched 10 attacks over the day. Defense forces repelled all assault actions near Synkivka, Berestove, Hlushkivka, and Stelmachivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 17 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Nevske, Makiivka, Terny, and the Serebryanske forestry.
In the Siversk direction, defense forces stopped seven assault actions near Bilohorivka, Spirne, and Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops halted 11 attempts by the enemy to break through defenses in the areas of Bila Hora, Ivanivske, and Chasiv Yar. More than 80 percent of all combat clashes occurred near Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out ten attacks near the settlements of Pivnichne, Zalizne, Druzhba, New York, and Toretsk. Toretsk and surrounding areas were subjected to nine airstrikes over the day.
In the Pokrovsk direction, defenders repelled 38 enemy assault actions, with the highest numbers occurring near the settlements of Zhelanne, Hrodivka, and Vozdvyzhenka — ten, eight, and five respectively.
In the Kurakhiv direction, defense forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, Karlivka, and Kostiantynivka, where the occupiers attempted to break through our defenses nine times.
In the Vremivka direction, the aggressor made three attacks on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane and from the sides of Staromykhailivka and Kermenchyk.
In the Orikhiv direction, there was one combat clash near Novodanylivka.
In the Dniprovsk direction, there were two unsuccessful attacks by the Russians.
Over the past day, aviation, rocket forces, and artillery of the defense forces conducted 21 strikes on enemy troop concentrations, five on enemy artillery and rocket forces, and two on electronic warfare stations.
It is noted that Ukrainian forces destroyed 1,220 Russian occupiers and dozens of enemy vehicles over the past day.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost more than 590,000 soldiers.
