Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of July 23

Over the last day, July 22, 155 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. Russia is most active in the Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk sectors, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted 14 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian personnel and weapons, as well as hit a control center, five artillery systems, a radar station, and three ammunition depots,” the General Staff writes.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, there were 10 engagements in the vicinity of Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, the number of Russian attacks amounted to 13 over the last day. Russian assaults were repelled near Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Kolisnykivka, Pishchane and Berestove.
In the Lyman sector, Russians attacked 11 times near Novoserhiivka, Makiivka, Torske, and Serebryanske forestry.
In the Siversk sector, 8 Russian attacks were repelled near Spirne, Verkhniokamianske, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Vyimka, and Pereyizne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russians attacked 30 times in the areas of Bondarne, Minkivka, Vasiukivka, Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, Klishchiyivka and Andriivka.
In the Toretsk sector, Russia attacked 16 times near Pivnichne, Toretsk, New York, and Zalizne.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 43 Russian attacks were repelled in the vicinity of Panteleimonivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Ivanivka, and other localities.
In the Kurakhove sector, Russia attacked 17 times near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Paraskoviivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, 3 combat engagements took place in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne.
Russia attacked 4 times in the Prydniprovskyi sector.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost about 568,000 personnel. Yesterday, during the day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,220 Russian troops, 4 tanks, 20 armored combat vehicles, and 57 artillery systems.
