Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of July 20

Ukrainian forces continue to hold their ground and repel the enemy's offensive actions. Additionally, over the past day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked an enemy helicopter landing site, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Yesterday, aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out 12 strikes on areas where enemy personnel and military equipment are concentrated, as well as targeting one electronic warfare station, one Osa SAM system, and a helicopter landing site.
Over the past day, 135 combat engagements took place on the front lines.
Kharkiv direction: Five clashes occurred near the settlements of Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
Kupiansk direction: There were 10 attacks during the day.
Lyman direction: The enemy launched 16 attacks near Hrekivka, Nevske, Terny, Novosadove, and in the Serebryanske forestry.
Siversk direction: Ukrainian defenders repelled assaults by Russian invaders near Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Vyimka, and Pereizne. A total of 11 clashes occurred.
Kramatorsk direction: The occupiers launched nine attacks in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka, Hryhorivka, and Bila Hora.
Toretsk direction: The enemy carried out 19 attacks near Pivnichne, Toretsk, New York, and Zalizne.
Pokrovsk direction: Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 assaults. The invaders, with support, attempted to push Ukrainian forces from their positions. The highest concentration of enemy attacks was near Novolaksandrivka and Novoselivka Persha.
Kurakhiv direction: The Defense Forces repelled 11 attacks near Krasnohorivka, Karlivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostyantynivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense.
Vremivka direction: The enemy conducted one assault near Vodiane.
Orikhiv direction: The occupiers continue to attempt to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions. Seven attacks by the Russians were unsuccessful in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky, Robotyne, and Novoandriivka.
Dnipro direction: Six combat engagements occurred with the enemy on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, conducts shelling of settlements, engages in reconnaissance and sabotage activities, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the border with Ukraine.
Enemy losses on the front line
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian forces have eliminated 565,000 Russian soldiers. In just the past day, defenders have destroyed nearly 1,000 invaders.
Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed thousands of units of enemy military equipment. Specifically, on July 19, the Defense Forces destroyed an enemy Su-25 aircraft in the Pokrovsk direction of Donetsk Oblast.
