Since the beginning of the day, June 21, 47 combat engagements took place on the frontline. Almost half of the fighting took place in the Pokrovsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Since the beginning of this day, 47 combat engagements have already taken place. Russia carried out 2 missile attacks with 4 missiles, and five air strikes using nine combat aircraft, and fired more than 400 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements. It attacked 21 times with kamikaze drones," the General Staff writes.

Sectors

In the Kharkiv sector, Russia did not conduct any active operations.

In the Kupiansk sector, 3 combat engagements took place in the areas of Stepova, Novoselivka, Pishchane, and Stelmakhivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, three combat engagements continue near Hrekivka and Nevske.

In the Siversk sector, Russia tried to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces seven times near Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Vyimka, and Rozdolivka. 5 combat engagements are ongoing.

Russia also tried to approach the positions of Ukrainian troops near Chasiv Yar and Klishchiivka 3 times. The fighting continues.

In the Toretsk sector, Russians are trying to break through in the area of Toretsk. The attack continues.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 21 combat engagements took place near Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Sokil, and Novoselivka Persha since the beginning of the day. 6 of Russia's attempts to improve its position have already failed, and 15 are ongoing.

In the Kurakhove sector, 2 Russian attacks were repelled in the vicinity of Paraskoviivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russia has intensified its attacks. Fighting continues in the areas of Vodiane and Urozhaine.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russians attacked twice in the area of Mala Tokmachka. One battle is currently ongoing.
