Over the past day, 60 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The Russians have not abandoned their intention to push the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian attacks

In total, the enemy launched 1 missile and 65 air strikes, fired 71 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian attacks, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Multi-storey and private buildings, as well as other infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.

Situation at the frontlines

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.

The enemy conducted air strikes near the settlements of Volfyno and Pavlivka in Sumy region; Zahryzove and Borova in Kharkiv region. More than 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks, including Pavlivka, Vysoke in Chernihiv region; Vorozhba, Seredyna-Buda in Sumy region.

The enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions. More than 10 localities suffered from artillery and mortar attacks, including Nevske in Luhansk region and Terny, Yampolivka, Zarichne in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, our troops repelled 28 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Novyi, Opytne, Andriivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation. More than 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Hryhorivka, Kalynivka and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 7 attacks near Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to force our units out of their positions.

They also conducted air strikes near the settlements of Umanske and Verkhnyotoretske in Donetsk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Semenivka, Netaylove in Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhayne in the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops 16 times. The enemy launched air strikes near the settlements of Staromykhailivka, Vodiane, Volodymyrivka and Urozhayne in Donetsk region.

More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, Kostiantynivka, and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders 3 times near Staromayorske in Donetsk region and northwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region. He carried out air strikes near the settlements of Staromayorske, Donetsk region, and Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Poltavka, Chervone, Bilohirya, Novodanylivka, Shcherbaki in Zaporizhzhya region.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy does not abandon its intention to push our units from the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, he made 3 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops near the village of Krynky, Kherson region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Tyahynka, Ivanivka, and Poniativka in Kherson region.

Strikes against Russians

Over the course of the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 11 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 1 control point, 2 ground control stations for drones and 1 enemy anti-aircraft missile system.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi said that the situation in the east had escalated. According to the commander-in-chief, the Russians are launching assaults with equipment.
