Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of March 10

In Ukraine, 73 combat clashes took place at the front during the day. The enemy reduced the intensity of assault operations in the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions in the Donetsk region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
The enemy launched 5 missile strikes and 95 airstrikes, conducted 136 shelling attacks with reactive volley fire systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
At night, Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine, using 22 UAVs of the Shahed type. With the efforts of Ukraine's air defense forces, 20 of these attacking UAVs were destroyed.
During the past day, aerial strikes targeted the populated areas of Hraniv and Synkivka in Kharkiv region; Serebrianske forestry and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Novosadove, Terny, Yampolivka, Mykolaivka, Semenivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Druzhba, Zhelanne, Oleksandrivka, Novokalynove, Ocheretyne, Novooleksandrivka, Novobakhmutivka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Maksymylianivka, Vuhledar, and Staromaiorske in Donetsk region; Robotyne and Novodanylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Over 110 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
Frontline situation
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains largely unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our forces to threatening areas, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.
In the Lyman direction, our troops repelled 7 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Terny and Spirne, in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 6 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Andriivka and Klishchiivka, Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 16 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continued to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region, where the enemy, with aviation support, attempted to breach our troops' defense 30 times.
In the Orikhiv direction, our troops repelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas east of Levadne, Robotyne, and west of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold their positions.
Enemy losses
During the past day, the Defense Forces aviation conducted strikes on 8 areas where enemy personnel, equipment, and military vehicles were concentrated.
Missile troops units inflicted damage on the area where enemy personnel, radio-electronic warfare stations, and air defense systems were concentrated.
