Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of February 14

Ukrainian military successfully repelled 10 enemy attacks in the Bahmut direction, held their positions, and thwarted assaults by occupying forces in the Kherson direction. Missile forces targeted three enemy command points, according to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
During the past day, there were 71 armed clashes. The enemy carried out a total of 3 missile strikes and 159 airstrikes, conducting 162 rocket artillery shelling on the positions of our forces and civilian settlements.
As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and fatalities among the civilian population. Multi-story and private houses, as well as critical infrastructure objects, have suffered destruction and damage.
Airstrikes occurred in the following locations:
- Kruhle in the Kharkiv region;
- Novoehorivka, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region;
- Terny, Rozdolivka, Chasiv Yar, Orlivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, Staromykhailivske in the Donetsk region;
- Novodarivka, Dolynka, Zhovta Krucha, Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region;
- Krynky in Kherson region.
Over 100 settlements in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
Situation at the frontlines
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, actively conducts sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Lyman direction, our forces repelled 2 enemy attacks in the areas of Yampolivka in the Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Defense Forces repelled 10 enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivka, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, which is persistently attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers hold the defense steadfastly, inflicting significant losses on the aggressors.
Defense forces repelled 20 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka region over the past day, and another 4 attacks near Nevelske in the Donetsk region
In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian forces continue to hold off the enemy near Heorhiivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, attempted to improve tactical positions 27 times.
In the Novopavlivka direction, no enemy offensive actions were observed.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Defense Forces repelled 3 enemy attacks east of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, Defense Forces continue to maintain positions and repel assaults by occupation forces.
Despite significant losses, the enemy persists in attempting to dislodge our units from occupied positions. Over the past day, the enemy conducted 5 unsuccessful assault actions.
At the same time, our troops, through active measures, inflict losses on occupation forces in personnel and equipment, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.
Enemy losses
During the past day, the defense forces' aviation struck 11 areas of personnel concentration, 1 command point, and 3 areas of deployment of enemy air defense systems.
Missile troops units struck 4 areas of personnel concentration, 7 artillery positions, 3 air defense assets, 3 command points, 2 ammunition depots, and 1 enemy electronic warfare system.
It is worth noting that the total number of losses for the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 397,080 military personnel.
