Within a day, the Defense Forces aviation struck 5 enemy personnel, equipment, and military vehicle concentration areas. However, the enemy continues its aggressive war despite significant losses, according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
The enemy continues its aggressive war, ignoring laws and customs of war, employing terror tactics, and targeting both military and civilian objects.
The enemy actively employs aviation and FPV drones, conducts assault operations supported by armored vehicles.
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains challenging.
Within a day, there were 91 combat clashes. The enemy conducted 49 air strikes, launched 52 rocket strikes on our troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are civilian casualties due to Russian terrorist attacks. Multi-story and private houses, as well as other civilian infrastructure, suffered destruction and damage.
Frontline situation
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains largely unchanged. There are no signs of the formation of advancing groups. Identified units of the Belarusian armed forces are carrying out tasks in border areas with Ukraine.
On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts reconnaissance and sabotage activities, shells populated areas from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the Ukrainian state border. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of populated areas Leonivka in the Chernihiv region, Yunakivka, Yablunivka, Kyndrativka in the Sumy region. Approximately 30 populated areas, including Karpovychi, Liubiane, Hremiach in Chernihiv region; Mohrytsia, Stepok, Uhroidy, Novodmytrivka in Sumy region; Udy, Strylcha, Chuhunivka, Vovchansk in Kharkiv region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Kupiansk front, our defenders repelled 10 attacks in the areas of populated areas Synkivka, Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defense of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of populated areas Stepova Novoselivka, Kotliarivka, and Pishchane in the Kharkiv region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
On the Lyman front, our troops repelled 8 attacks in the areas of populated areas Bilo horivka in the Luhansk region, Terny, and Yampolivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, attempted to break through the defense of our troops. Over 10 populated areas, including Nevske, Bilohorivka, Serebrianka forestry in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Serebrianka, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Bakhmut front, the defense forces repelled 18 attacks in the areas of populated areas Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve its tactical position. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Vasiukivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, New York in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
On the Avdiivka front, our defenders repelled 17 attacks in the areas of populated areas Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, and another 10 attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske, Nevelske in Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops. Enemy artillery and mortar fire affected over 15 populated areas, including Keramik, Novobakhmutivka, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka in the Donetsk region.
On the Maryinka front, the defense forces continue to hold back the occupiers in the area of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, attempted to improve its tactical position 12 times. Populated areas in the Donetsk region, such as Kurakhove, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Paraskeviiivka, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
On the Shakhtarsk front, our defenders repelled 2 enemy attacks south of Zolota Niva in the Donetsk region and north of Pryiutne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of the populated area of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, and Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, the defense forces repelled 2 attacks west of Novopokrovka and in the area of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defense of our troops. Approximately 30 populated areas, including Poltavka, Huliaypole, Stepove, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Stepnohirsk in the Zaporizhzhia region, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Kherson front, the enemy does not abandon its intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, 4 unsuccessful attempts were made to storm the positions of our troops during the day. The city of Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region came under artillery fire. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of populated areas Chervonyi Maiak, Krynky, Beryslav in the Kherson region. The enemy also shelled populated areas with reactive volley fire systems in the areas of populated areas Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Krynky, Komyshany, Tokariivka in the Kherson region.
